Class Policy

  • Class size ranges from 6–16 students, depending on dancer age, genre, and studio.
  • There must be a minimum of three students enrolled in a recreational dance class to run.
  • The first consideration for placement is age. Students may be asked to move into a higher class if deemed qualified by the instructor regardless of age or experience.
  • Student attitude, effort, home practice, self discipline and attendance are also strong factors in class placement.
  • If at any time you have questions about class placement, schedule a time to discuss your child’s progress with his or her instructor.
  • Dancers will be expected to attend class, having memorized previous instruction. Instructor may have choreography or videos for the dancer to practice at home with.
  • In case of absence, check with your instructor for makeup class availability. A makeup class may or may not be available, depending on the class missed. Register for makeup classes through your parent portal. Makeup class must be scheduled within two months of your student’s absence. Students must be active to enroll in makeup classes.
  • All students participate in the Year–End Recital (May 29th-31st, 2025).
