VEGA Preschool is an academic preschool program centered around classic children’s literature, designed by Preschool Director, Amy Meyer, to develop the whole child through cognitive, physical, and artistic avenues.

Academically, students realize Early Learning Standards through the Handwriting without Tears curriculum, scientific discovery and beginning math skills. Along with weekly gymnastics classes, thematic units are reinforced through weekly music, dance, and yoga, reaching the kinesthetic and auditory learners, and introducing mindfulness. And, play is woven through the week, as it is vital to the development of creativity, imagination, teamwork and social skills.

The low student to teacher ratio sets the classroom up for success, and allows for one on one time when necessary. VEGA Preschool instructors are mature professionals, committed to the students, working in the field of Child Development for years. Parents stay well informed of their child’s progress through reports and trackable goals. Preschool Open House is held each year in February.
