pluto-class

Another progression of jazz, contemporary has elements of both jazz and ballet, but is a subjective, non-traditional dance form. It is often characterized by rigid and contrasting movements, powerful variations and leaps and turns. Dances often have arrhythmic tendencies without classical structure.

Elements of class are highly improvisational, encouraging students to draw from their individual energy, resulting in powerful, and often personal creations. Previous dance experience is not required, but is strongly suggested.
