Jackie Genis

Dance Instructor

Jackie began teaching as a Combo 1/2 instructor for VEGA/Virtuosity in 2021. Growing up in Seattle, Jackie received her dance training on a full scholarship and performing experience with Pacific Northwest Ballet. Her dream was to become a dancer and a writer.

Graduating from the University of Portland with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and earning a CPRW credential in resume writing, Jackie lives a life full of dancing, writing, and now teaching. Jackie loves sharing her knowledge of ballet and joy for dance with students and her family. Seeing the kids have fun and light up while dancing is magical for her.
