Mandy started gymnastics at the age of 6, and continued virtually non-stop through high school. She competed through USAG Level 9, attended Level 9 regionals, and participated in both club and high school gymnastics throughout high school. Throughout the majority of her career, she was coached and mentored by Coach Zdravko Stoianov.

While attending OSU for her degree in Exercise Science, Mandy coached the OSU club team on campus. She coached both Rec and Team classes for VEGA after college, then stepped away to explore a career in Physical Therapy. However, the pull back to gymnastics was undeniable, and Mandy has been coaching for VEGA ever since. She can’t imagine coaching anywhere else, and considers her coworkers to be just as close as family.

Mandy and her husband Miguel have two adorable girls, Eva and Macey. They love to spend family time together, participating in outdoor activities whenever possible.
