Dance Instructor

I am currently a dance instructor at Virtuosity, but I’ve been a part of VEGA and Virtuosity since I was 4! After starting in rec gymnastics, I did competitive gymnastics for 4 years, then became a competitive dancer for 8 years. I started working at Virtuosity in 2017, took a break when I was in college, and now I’m back! I’m excited to be working with the Competitive Dance Teams, because that was such a fun, rewarding experience, and a really big part of my life.

I have taught dance at 3 different studios, both in the PNW and in Arizona where I attended Grand Canyon University. My dance education includes jazz, tap, acro, lyrical, contemporary and musical theatre, and I have completed through Level 5 of the ABT(r) National Training Curriculum. I have my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology, and have been substitute teaching throughout Clark County. Working with kids has always been a passion of mine. I love being able to positively connect with them and encourage them to be the best version of themselves!

In my free time, I’ve recently started country line dancing, but mostly I love to be doing anything outdoors, especially in the sun.
